Vestry: The Vestry will meet today after the 11:00am service.

Episcopate: The Nominating Committee has presented a slate of five candidates for the election of the 7^th Bishop of the Diocese of Lexington.  Profiles for each candidate may be found on the Diocesan website at www.diolex.org.

Food Pantry: Please remember to bring non-perishable food items to the church for the Food Pantry.

Father’s Day Brunch: Join the fathers of St. John’s for a brunch Sunday, June 17^th in the Parish Hall.  The women of the church will be preparing the feast.

Red Hats Society: The Red Hats will be meeting on the 20^th of June in the Parish Hall.  Please see June V for details.

Sunday School: Sunday School will be taking a break for the summer.  Godly Play will resume in the fall.  You may join together for fellowship and a snack before the 11:00am service.

Prayers for Today

We pray for those members of our community in need of God’s healing touch.

In accordance with the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer we pray for St. Martha’s, Lexington, The Rev. Bob Sessum, Priest-in-Charge.

We also pray for: churches of the Small Church Ministry Consortium and the election of a Bishop for the Diocese of Lexington.
