About Us

St. John’s Episcopal Church is a Christian church within the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington serving the tri-county area of Laurel, Whitley and Knox counties in southeastern Kentucky.

We are located at the corner of College and Engineer Streets, 701 Engineer Street in Corbin, Kentucky.

We gather for a celebration of the Holy Eucharist on Sundays at 11:00 am, but feel free to join us earlier for coffee and discussion, or stay later. We are a rather sociable bunch!

On Wednesdays we gather at 6:00 pm for an evening worship service.

  • Saturday, March 7 – Grow Appalachia shopping trip.  Meet at the church at 8:30am
  • Thursday, March 19, 6pm – Whitley County Extension Agent, Paul Dengel, answers our questions about organic gardening.
