General Convention: The General Convention of the Episcopal Church will convene July5^th through 12^th in Indianapolis, Indiana.  A webcast of the convention may be accessed live or on demand at www.episcopalchurch.org

General Convention II: There will be a town meeting Saturday, July 14^th in the Parish Hall at 10:30 with Bishop Chilton and others General Convention delegates for post-Convention reflections.

Episcopate: The Nominating Committee has presented a slate of five candidates for the election of the 7^th Bishop of the Diocese of Lexington.  Profiles for each candidate may be found on the Diocesan website at www.diolex.org.  Bishop nominee Walkabouts are scheduled for July 30^th through August 4^th.

Saturday in the Park: The Corbin Community Band will be performing in the park Saturday, July 14^th.  The concert runs from 7:00pm until dark.

Food Pantry: Please remember to bring non-perishable food items to the church for the Food Pantry.

Prayers for Today

In accordance with the Diocesan Cycle of Prayer we pray for The Kentucky Council of Churches and The Diocese of Kentucky, The Rt. Rev. Terry White, Bishop.

We pray for the General Convention of the Episcopal Church that efforts and decisions may be made to the glory of God.

We pray for: churches of the Small Church Ministry Consortium and the election of a Bishop for the Diocese of Lexington.
