About Us

St. John’s Episcopal Church is a Christian church within the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington serving the tri-county area of Laurel, Whitley, and Knox counties in southeastern Kentucky.

We are located at the corner of College and Engineer Streets, 701 Engineer Street in Corbin, Kentucky.

We are offering online and in-person worship services on Sundays at 11:00 am and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. See the details below.

Sunday Morning Discussion Group: Sundays, 10:00 am (available online)

There will be no Sunday Morning Discussion Group as we prepare for our in-person worship.

Sunday morning worship: Sundays, 11:00 am (available online, the bulletin is available as a PDF file)

We will be worshiping indoors, masked, and socially distanced. The service will be available by Zoom, but not streamed on Facebook at this time because of music copyright concerns.

Al-Anon Group: Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm (suspended)

Wednesday Evening Prayer: Wednesdays, 6:00 pm (available online)

We returned to in-person worship on Wednesday evenings on May 12. We will still offer a Zoom stream for those unable to attend in person.

Friday Compline: Fridays, 7:00 pm on Facebook Live
