St. John’s Episcopal Church is a Christian church within the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington serving the tri-county area of Laurel, Whitley, and Knox counties in southeastern Kentucky.
We are located at the corner of College and Engineer Streets, 701 Engineer Street in Corbin, Kentucky.
We are offering online and in-person worship services on Sundays at 11:00 am and Wednesdays at 6:00 pm. See the details below.
Sunday Morning Discussion Group: Sundays, 10:00 am
Sunday morning worship: Sundays, 11:00 am (available online)
We will be worshiping in-person. Masking is required if any one of the three principal counties (Knox, Laurel, Whitley) is in the yellow or orange according to the CDC. The service will be available by Zoom each Sunday for those who cannot attend in person. We are not posting a recorded version of the service online because of copyright concerns and the challenges of editing out the music in a timely manner.
Al-Anon Group: Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm
Wednesday Evening Prayer: Wednesdays, 6:00 pm (available online)
We returned to in-person worship on Wednesday evenings on May 12. We will still offer a Zoom stream for those unable to attend in person.
Friday Compline: Fridays, 7:00 pm on Facebook Live
