Friends, I announced to the Vestry earlier this year that I would be taking a break from the music this summer. For the months of June, July, and August members of the Worship Committee and those who have expressed a willingness to help will be in charge of picking out the weekly hymns and for operating the digital player.

Amber and I want to take the kids to visit their grandparents’ churches so we’ll be there some Sundays and not others. This week we’re going to Amber’s family church in Lexington.

I have enjoyed serving God and the church in this capacity and will continue to be a resource to any and all who step in to help.
